I’m an award-winning writer, editor, and B2B content creator who specializes in the event, meeting, experiential marketing, and hospitality industries.
I’ve been reporting on the event industry for more than 14 years, most recently as the Executive Editor at BizBash, the industry’s preeminent trade media, for which I am still a regular contributor. Throughout my career, I’ve written in-depth case studies on everything from the Academy Awards and CES to Coachella and IMEX, along with strategy-focused pieces focused on smart tips and takeaways for live, virtual, and hybrid events. I also regularly write about new technology; venue openings; wedding, food, and design trends; and marketing and social media strategy.
As a thought leader in the event industry, I’m also a frequent speaker and moderator for industry panels and podcasts, and regularly consult with event agencies on best practices for getting media coverage. In 2022, I was a recipient of the industry’s inaugural “Women to Watch” award; I’m also currently serving on the 2022-2023 ILEA Los Angeles board as Director of Content & Marketing.
I bring decades of experience in writing, editing, copyediting, magazine production, content marketing, and PR for companies including BizBash, Connect Meetings, Bizzabo, Sequence Events, Shepard, Unbridled, Mark Allen & Co, Three Ships, Redbook magazine, the Baltimore City Paper, and the alumni magazines for Loyola University Maryland and Stevenson University. A St. Louis native and former New Yorker, I now reside in Los Angeles with my partner, David, an award-winning graphic novelist, and my two-year-old terrier, Ruby, whose chaotic energy is matched only by her cuteness.
